Libya’s National Liberation Army (NLA)

 

Today Libya’s National Transitional Council (NTC) released Decision No.67, which officially names the Armed Forces as the National Liberation Army (NLA).  The NTC is conscious that many have struggled over terms that do not do the NLA justice it hopes that the name will better define the increasingly professional & disciplined military efforts to overcome Gaddafi’s regime
